ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Come devise and play with Saige Larmer! This workshop aims to undo our preconceived understanding of devising, inviting you to build a relationship with your own creative inspirations, and of those in the room with you, to achieve collective liberation and joy.

The definition of “success” in this workshop is not to be the most creative, the weirdest, or the boldest, but rather to practice bridging the gap between your instincts and your actions — through the use of writing prompts, movement scores and group improvisations, we will connect with the core of our creative impulses and build community and connection through our shared discoveries.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Saige Larmer is a queer actor and performance artist based in New York. Their work has been seen at The Public Theater, Lincoln Center, The Shed, The Bushwick Starr, Ensemble Studio Theater, The Tank and Theatre Row. Saige has trained with Maria Dizzia, Erica Fae, Tina Satter, and Lisa Fagan, among others. They received their BFA in Acting from UT Austin.
